FAQ’s
Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options for afternoon tea?
We have a vegetarian and a vegan menu option and as long as we know in advance of your reservation, are able to make gluten free items.
What types of teas are served with afternoon tea?
We are very proud to work with renowned tea brand Newby. Diners are invited to choose from one of the Newby Loose Leaf teas, which include a delightful range of flavours including Black Tropical, Wild Cherry, Elderflower & Lemon and Rooibos.
What if I don’t like tea? Can I choose another drink option?
Yes, you can opt for a coffee instead or a cold, non-alcoholic drink.
Is there a dress code for Afternoon Tea?
We don’t have a specific dress-code, however we suggest that you dress in smart/casual attire. We do not allow golf shoes in the Lounge area, Restaurant or Garden Room, where Afternoon Tea is served and prefer diners not to wear golf clothing.
Can I request a private room or space for a special Afternoon Tea event?
We have two Private Dining Rooms, which can accommodate up to 35 guests and are available for hire for events with an Afternoon Tea available as an option. The Garden Room is also available for private hire with a charge for exclusive use.
Do you serve Champagne or other beverages with Afternoon Tea?
We offer a Traditional Afternoon tea, which is served with Newby Tea with the option to upgrade your Afternoon Tea to include either a glass of Prosecco or Perrier Jouet Champagne.
How long does the Afternoon Tea experience typically last?
Most guests are with us around two hours. We do not set a time limit on reservation, which means guests can enjoy their experience fully.
Terms & Conditions
For tables of 6 or more, a deposit payment of £20 per person is required to confirm your reservation. If you do not cancel at least 2 days ahead of your reservation, your deposit will not be refunded. For tables of 12 or more diners, we will require a pre-order in advance and full-payment at point of booking. A discretionary 12.5% service charge will be added to your bill.
