Centurion Club Championships | 25 - 26 June 2022
On the back of two tournaments, there was no stopping us here at Centurion Club as we hosted our very own event – our Club Championships. This annual event is an opportunity for our members to compete over two days and across two rounds of stroke play golf. For the first time a Nett category was created alongside the Gross to add more opportunity to win prizes for members, which were sponsored by Callaway Golf.
The men’s event saw 55 members enter and battle it out over 36 holes with the eventual winner, Finlay Rennie, claiming the trophy after he shot 75 & 81 for a total of +12. Closely behind in runner up position was James Ellis finishing on +16. In the Nett category Guy Fisher stormed to first and a solid performance by Conrad Mazen meant he claimed 2nd place.
Maddie Rolph played superb golf and triumphed in the lady’s category to claim top position with +16 and Mignon Marks was well placed in 2nd. Ines Hellmayr becomes champion in the Nett category with Ruth Zohrer finishing 2nd.
An additional bonus prize was donated by the Club via a raffle for all players who completed in the two rounds. The lucky winner of the Callaway Tour Bag was Richard Heppell.
This is just one of many events that our members are invited to take part in with opportunities for complete beginners to seasoned pros. The club thanks all members for playing and creating new history for the club. For further details about our membership options click here
