Golf Practice
Facilities

Centurion Club has a range of practice facilities designed to cater to every aspect of a golfer’s game. Whether you want to perfect your swing on the Driving Range, experiment with short game shots on the Chipping Green and Pitching Area, or complete Putting drills on our practice Greens, these areas provide comprehensive and convenient facilities for golfers of all levels to improve their game.

Driving Range

The driving range, equipped with premium Callaway golf balls, provides the ideal setting for honing long shots; coaching with one of our PGA pros or warming up before a round.

Large Putting Green

A very spacious, undulating Putting Green conveniently located between the driving range and the 1st tee offers a realistic and varied practice Putting experience.

Small Putting Green

For those focusing on precision and technique, an additional smaller and flatter Putting Green is available, perfect for fine-tuning accuracy; utilising training aids and completing drills.

Chipping Green

The Chipping Green is ideal for perfecting your short game. Whether trying out flop shots or bump and runs, there’s plenty of different slopes and pin locations to try.

19th Pitching Area 

A dedicated pitching area, aptly named “The 19th,” is a vast area for mastering approach shots and tricky wedge shots from a variety of different lies, and bunker shots.

Mark Gregson-Walters

Director of Instruction

Mark is a PGA Advanced Fellow Coach with over 30 years’ experience, working with golfers from beginners to Tour professionals. Having coached in world-class environments, including the European Tour Performance Institute in Dubai, he brings extensive expertise in player development and high-performance coaching.
Now based at Centurion Club, Mark focuses on helping committed golfers lower their scores through a clear, structured approach. His coaching combines technical insight with performance-based practice, using data and skill testing to deliver measurable progress.
He offers individual coaching, on-course lessons, short game clinics, and structured programmes—each tailored to help players improve, practice effectively, and perform on the course.

Niall Keogh

Assistant Professional

Niall brings over 20 years of experience to Centurion Club, progressing from a talented junior to a PGA Assistant Professional after an impressive amateur career, including county champion, match play champion, and county first‑team captain. His coaching style is enthusiastic and down‑to‑earth, combining modern technology – Flightscope, Capto putting analysis, and video feedback – with simple, effective guidance. As a certified mind‑factor coach, Niall helps golfers gain clarity, confidence, and the focus needed to unlock their true potential.
